    Jim Anderson is Davis-Michael Professor of Forestry and Natural Resources, program coordinator for the Wildlife and Fisheries Resources program, and a professor of wildlife ecology and management at West Virginia University.  He earned a B.S. in wildlife from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, an M.S. in range and wildlife management through the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and a Ph.D. in wildlife science from Texas Tech University.  Jim has been at WVU since 1999.  His research interests include restoration ecology, wetland and riparian ecology and management, and wildlife habitat relations.  In particular he is interested in evaluating wetland functional equivalency and ecology of wetland-dependent wildlife.  Jim is married with 2 children and has 2 Labrador retrievers that love to hunt.
