  • Biography

    I am a post-doctoral research assistant at West Virginia University. I earned a B.S. in Biology from Marshall university in 2007, a M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources from WVU in 2009, and a Ph.D. in Forest Resource Sciences from WVU in 2015. My dissertation research focused on modeling cumulative effects of land use activities on aquatic systems within the mountaintop mining region of central Appalachia. Outside of EPSCoR, I is currently working on projects related to brook trout metapopulation ecology in the Shavers Fork of the Cheat River, WV. My research focus within the EPSCoR project is primarily focused on AFI Objectives 2 (complexity) and 3 (modeling). I also serve as administrative support for the Appalachian Freshwater Initiative.
